Glass Tile Jewellery Instructions
Glass Tile Jewellery Instruction Sheet
You will need a pair of scissors and a plastic mat / table mat to protect your work surface.
1. Choose the paper and position for your tile. DO NOT CUT TO SIZE YET. For earrings pick two similar patterned areas!
2. Feel the glass tile. One size has a smooth surface and one is slightly rough. Apply a small amount of diamond glaze to the rough side.
3. Using the brush provided spread the glue thinly over the tile to the edges.
4. Place the paper image side up on the table. Place the tile on the paper, glue side down. Apply pressure until no air bubbles are left.
5. Wipe any extra glue off the sides using your finger, or a dry cloth. Leave to the tile paper side up until dry.
6. Once dry trim the sides of the paper. This can be done with sharp scissors or a blade and a mat.
7. Apply another layer of diamond glaze to the back of the paper. This can be repeated after the first layer has dried. Then use super glue or epoxy glue to attach the bail or magnet.

Hints and Variations:
· Instead of bail, attach a ring base or magnet. (Supplied)
· For extra strength araldite can be used to apply the bail over the diamond glaze.
· If you would like to make the pendant water tight then use a layer of clear resin on the back of the tile. This is the best way to finish your glass tiles..
· Micro glaze can be used to prevent ink smudging if the image comes from an ink jet printer
· Use stickers, papers, decorations, ribbons to make keyrings, earrings, pendants, magnets, paperweights and the list goes on! Let your imagination choose!
